So what exactly is 'candid photography’?
Candid photography is about catching genuine smiles, hearty laughter, a loving look, finding out how you two usually stand next to each other.
I’m always on the look out for smiles and laughter; ready to capture those blink-and-you-miss-it in the moment shots. I’ll get you two laughing and feeling comfortable in front of the camera. I capture candid but authentic portraits that reflect your personalities and your love, while still making sure you enjoy your day and have fun with it!
Candid photography (or at times, ‘documentary photography’) also includes completely unprompted, photo-ninja-vision shots of moments like you and guests mingling, accidentally smashing a glass, cake on your shirt, tipsy dance moves, Aunt Mary wiping a tear, and plenty of other moments captured all without you even noticing.
When it's time to party, I love to be right in the middle of the action to capture the vibes and those high-energy shots from the dancefloor!
