Please note that a travel fee of $50 - $120 may be required for some areas 90km from outer northern Melbourne, and/or multiple locations. Please get in touch for a quote.

We’ll have a chat either in-person for a coffee/tea/drink (Northern suburbs only), or via video chat.
We'll chat about your plans and vibe for your wedding day so far, and the kind of photos you've got in mind.
I'll ask a bit about you two, and we'll all get a feel for each other to make sure we’re a good match!
I'll advise you on usual timings and durations of a wedding day, and recommend the best times for the usual formalities of the day, taking into consideration the time of day for the best lighting and from a photography perspective.
I also start creating a draft timeline for you during our meeting.

If we all hit it off and you're ready to book in with me and lock in your date, I’ll send you a photography agreement and a retainer invoice to make it official!

I’ll touch base with you both about 3-4 weeks before your wedding day to discuss any new or updated details and times. This can be over video/phone, or over email.
If necessary I may do a location scout of your venue, but most of the time I leave it to the day of the wedding to follow the sun direction, weather and spontaneous inspiration.

We'll be in touch via email, text, instagram or phone however many times we need to, so that everything is confirmed and ready to run as smooth as possible on the big day!
I've photographed hundreds of wedding days so have collected many ideas, and have plenty of recommendations and advice to share! I can also recommend other vendors suited to your wedding day, just ask!

Hello newlyweds!! A day or two after your wedding day, I’ll send you a whole bunch of sneak peek photos to update your socials and tide you over until your full wedding gallery is ready.
Your sneak peeks usually include an overall summary of your day (e.g. ceremony, couples portraits, dancefloor etc).

Woo! The best part of this whole photography thing! Your full wedding gallery link is emailed to you! Ready to view a billion times, download and share!
You can then choose to print some pics through me (or DIY!), and order a gorgeous printed photo book!

Candid photography is primarily about catching genuine smiles, a loving look, letting things unfold and me being in the right spot at the right time to capture it. Throughout the day I organically get sweet shots of you two while you go about your day without much or any interference at all.
Candid photography (to me) can sometimes still include some preliminary setup and direction to ensure lighting, location and angles are perf for those candid moments to then unfold! That usually means placing you guys where the lighting looks best, giving you some sweet prompts, and then letting things unfold.
Candid photography (or at times, documentary photography) also includes completely natural shots of you and guests mingling, epic dance moves, accidentally smashing a glass, getting cake on your shirt, the groom’s pants ripping (this is something that has happened!). Aunt Mary wiping a tear, and plenty of other moments captured all without you even noticing.

I'm all about candid, authentic and fun photography, while still catering to each couple’s preference and vibe.
Some couples don’t want anything too romantic, and some couples want the romance and the laughs. Either way, nothing is ever too formal or too stiff!
I love capturing people laughing and smiling, being in the moment and enjoying themselves.
When it comes to your portraits, I’ll gently direct you with as much variety in poses and location as you’d like (with my signature candid, fun, authentic style), including fitting in sunset portraits and night time portraits if you’d like.
If you’re keen on having some sweet portraits together but want less emphasis on that part of your day, we can go for a brief walk to get the essential shots and then get you back to the party as quick as possible!
I also organically get sweet shots of you two while you go about your day without much or any interference at all.
It’s your day, and I'm always an advocate of doing things however you’re comfortable with (with my recommendations thrown in)!

My editing style is timeless, true-to-life, true-to-the-moment; often colourful and well-exposed. I don’t tend to desaturate greens or change colours to something they weren’t in reality (unless you request it of course!).
I also loveee black and white edits, as you'll be able to see through my work. Some photos look gorgeous in black & white and suit the 'mood' or the lighting of the photo better, and some photos look great either way!
Have a look through some of my galleries or social media to get a good idea of how I edit.
I’m also skilled at Photoshop so I take the time and care to get rid of unappealing elements in a shot, remove a bra strap poking out, or layer fam portraits to make sure everyone’s eyes are open.

That’s where I come in!
My goal is for you to feel as natural and comfortable as possible, which means your posing will also be as natural and authentic to you two as possible. I will be giving you gentle direction, guidance and prompts so you’re not standing there wondering what to do. This is also why I like to meet you both before your wedding (via video or in-person), so that I can get an idea of your dynamic, personalities, and affection style, and what will or won’t look natural for you both. I’m also very empathetic and I am skilled at helping couples to feel at ease in front of the camera.
You could also book an engagement session with me to get a feel for it before the big day. You’ll get 30% off your session when you book your wedding photography!

I always say a minimum of 30 minutes is ideal, but it is ultimately up to you!
That 30 mins can be split into two, for example, 15 minutes after your ceremony, and another 15 minutes during sunset (the most pretty and flattering lighting).
If there’s multiple locations you’d like to utilise, or a location that we have drive to we of course need to allocate more time for that (again, can be split into two different parts of the day).
If you’re not too keen on couples portraits but still want to tick it off, we can smash out a very quick and brief 15 min session to get the essential shots and you can get back to your party!
I also organically get sweet shots of you two while you go about your day without much or any interference at all.

I average 70-100 images per hour, and there is no limit to the amount of final images I edit and deliver.
The number of final images varies depending on hours of coverage, how many guests, what you have planned etc – feel free to ask me for an estimate!
You will receive all your photographs in high-resolution and full-resolution uploaded to an online gallery.
This gallery can be shared with anyone using a unique link, which is very handy to email out to guests. From there your guests can view and download the photos too!
